    The Geron Family Cemetery was formed on the Geron Farm in August 2003 after the untimely death of young Joseph Wayne (Joey) Geron who was the first burial there.  
    It is located off of County Road 4380 south of Decatur and the Pleasant Grove Cemetery #1, near Flatwood Baptist Church.  Heading South from Decatur on FM 730, turn right on County Road 4380. Stay on this road for about a mile. On a curve, the road will intersect Private Road 4385 to the right.  Immediately, there is a chained pasture gate leading onto the Geron Farm.  Driving down this road, you will cross a dry weather crossing in a creek. The cemetery will be about 100 yards ahead on a small hill with a great archway over the entrance gate.  
    The cemetery contains about 1 acre of land, is nicelly fenced, and in December, 2022, there were 5 newer headstones and 3 wooden crosses marking 9 graves (12 headstone names). The cemetery is on privately owned land, so please ask for permission before going there.
