Location:
North of Alvord near the Montague County line. From Business Hwy 81/287 in the
center of Alvord, take FM Rd 1655 north toward Forestburg.
In about 4.2 miles, turn right onto Rollingwood Road.
In 1.5 miles, Rollingwood Road makes a circle drive around a central plot
of land. The cemetery is on
the right in front of you as you start into the circle drive.
Condition: The
cemetery has no boundary fence and the grounds slope down the back to a nice
pond. The family keeps it maintained
very well. Giles Family Cemetery was established by the Giles Family in 2002
after the death of Larry Edward Giles. There have been four burials there as of
October, 2024.
