Location:  Huseman Family Cemetery is located north of Decatur near the old town of Aububon. It's NE of Ball Knob Cemetery and NW of Cottonwood Cemetery. It's on private property in an area surrounded by LBJ National Grassland properties. From Decatur, take FM 730 (Trinity Street) north from the town square for 3.3 miles.  Turn left on County Road 2175 and travel about .9 miles. Turn right onto Old Decatur Road and travel 4.4 miles to County Road 2475. Turn right on 2475 for 2 miles to a slight right turn onto County Road 2675.  Traveling 2.4 miles and through the former community of Audubon, make a right turn onto County Road 2670. In about 50 yards, you will turn right onto Private Road 2678.  This enters private property, so please ask permission before entering there.  About 200 yards down the gravel road, the cemetery is in the post oak forest to your right. 

Condition: The cemetery is surrounded by forest on three sides.  It has a nice, ornate metal fence around the area of about 30 ft. by 30 ft.  The family keeps it very clean and clear of brush. It was established shortly before the death of Leo Huseman in 2001.  In October, 2024, Leo and his wife, Joan, are the only burials there.
