Location: Cemetery
is NE of Decatur close to Oaklawn Cemetery. From the intersection of US Hwy 380
and FM Rd 51 in the northern edge of Decatur, go north on FM 51 for 1.4 miles.
Turn right onto County Road 2224. Travel
about .4 miles and the cemetery gate will be on your right.
Condition: The cemetery consists of about an acre of land. It has a well-built pipe and hog wire fence with a very nice entry gate and archway with the name (RYAN CALVERT). The family keeps it well mowed and manicured. A large tree had recently fallen on part of the east fence, but it was cut up and in the process of being cleared away. The cemetery was established in about 2010 by the Calvert Family and former Wise County Sheriff, Phil Ryan. As of October, 2024, there were three burials there.
