Mr. and Mrs. Gary D. Beard of Paradise announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Tiffany Jeanne Beard, to Michael Jeffery Malloy, son of Mr. and Mrs. Michael J. Malloy of Jacksonville, Fla. The couple plan to marry on June 23, 2000,in Abilene.
The bride-elect is a 1997 honor graduate of Fort Worth Christian School and attended Abilene Christian University.
The prospective groom is a 1990 graduate of Fletcher High School in Jacksonville, Fla. and is a staff sergeant in the United States Air Force stationed at Dyess Air Force Base in Abilene.

Marriage vows to be exchanged July 8, 2000
Shanna J’Layne McKinney of Grapevine, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Teddy McKinney of Decatur, will marry Dusty McClung of Lewisville, son of Donna Pochyla and the late Tony McClung, on July 8, 2000.
The Rev. Greg Mohr will officiate the ceremony at the River of Life Church in Decatur.
The bride-elect is a 1995 graduate of Decatur High School and is the operations manager at 24 Hour Fitness.
The prospective groom graduated from Victoria High School and is a Technical Recruiter at Global Technical Services in Fort Worth.

McDuff - Susanna Ruth Acker and Jared Paul McDuff
Marriage vows exchanged Jan. 9, 2000
Susanna Ruth Acker and Jared Paul McDuff were wed Jan. 9, 2000, at Pleasant View Baptist Church in Dallas. The bride’s uncle and church pastor, the Rev. Robert Acker performed the ceremony.
Acker is the daughter of Linda Cowell of Boyd and James Acker of Houston. She is the granddaughter of Donald H. Brown of Decatur and Marie Acker of Dallas. McDuff is the son of Jay and Sherry McDuff of Keller. He is the grandson of Bill and Billie McDuff of Keller and Mr. and Mrs. Henry Souder of Cleburne.
The couple reside in Southlake. The bride attends Tarrant County College. The groom is completing classes in computer science at Northlake College and is employed by Eagle Mountain Boats.

McGinnis - Amanda Michelle Christian and William Scott McGinnis
Marriage vows to be exchanged Sept. 11, 2000
Amanda Michelle Christian, daughter of Rick and Sheryl Christian of Decatur, and William Scott McGinnis, son of Paul and Helen McGinnis of Abilene, will exchange marriage vows Sept. 11, 2000, at Waimea Falls in Hawaii.

Marriage vows exchanged Sept. 11, 2000
Amanda Michelle Christian of Decatur and William Scott McGinnis of Abilene were married Sept. 11, 2000, in a double ring ceremony at Waimea Falls in Hawaii.
The bride was given in marriage by her parents, Rick and Sheryl Christian of Decatur. Also attending were the bride’s brother and sister-in-law, Rusty and Melanie Christian of Fort Worth.
Parents of the groom are Paul and Helen McGinnis of Abilene.
The bride is a 1994 graduate of Decatur High School and a 1998 graduate of Abilene Christian University with a bachelor of science degree in nutrition. She completed her dietetic internship through Lamar University in Beaumont in May. She is employed as a clinical dietitian at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Harlingen.
The groom is a 1997 graduate of McMurry University with a bachelor of science degree in math and a minor in physics. He is employed as a federal agent for the Department of Justice in Harlingen.
After a honeymoon in Hawaii, the couple lives in Harlingen.

Julie Anne Littlepage, daughter of Mary Littlepage of Blue Ridge and James Littlepage of McKinney, and Joshua Alan McKenney, son of Loraine Womack of Plano, plan to marry on August 19, 2000, at The Victorian House in Kaufman.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Bridgeport High School and Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls. She is a corporate recruiter for ExiUSA, Inc. of Dallas.
The prospective groom is a graduate of Allen High School and attended Oklahoma Christian University in Edmond, Okla. He is an asset coordinator for Hewlett Packard in Dallas.

Marriage vows exchanged Aug. 19, 2000
Julie Anne Littlepage of Dallas and Joshua Alan McKenney of Allen were united in marriage in a candlelight ceremony on Aug. 19, 2000, in a small white steepled chapel in a country setting in Kaufman. The couple was surrounded by immediate family members with close friends and the groom’s sister and the bride’s brother serving as attendants. Larry Pratt of Eliasville, cousin of the bride, officiated the double ring ceremony.
Parents of the bride are Mary Littlepage of Blue Ridge and Mr. and Mrs. James Littlepage of McKinney. Loraine Womack of Plano is the mother of the groom. Grandparents of the bride are Mr. and Mrs. Preston Pratt and Mr. and Mrs. Doyle Littlepage, all of Graham. Grandparents of the groom are Mr. and Mrs. Irving P. Smith of Richardson, Mr. and Mrs. Joe D. Young of Overton and Mr. and Mrs. Donald E. McKenney of Bloomington, Minn.
The bride was escorted by her father and wore a designer gown of white matte satin. The princess-style gown featured an empire bodice outlined by bands of beads and crystals with tiny crystal and beaded straps. The skirt flowed to a semi-cathedral length train. Bands of beads and crystals flowed from a bow in the center back to the hemline. The cathedral veil featured small pearls and crystals. She carried a long-stemmed bouquet of dark pink and creme roses, yellow freshia and tiny accents of deep red sweetheart roses tied with a wide white satin bow with beaded pearl edges.
The maid of honor was Dawn Mays of Dallas. Bridesmaids were Michelle Hanson, sister of the groom of Kearney, Mo., Amy Andrews of Frisco, Tamara Avery of Wichita Falls and Mary Trcka of Dallas. They wore floor length cool royal blue gowns with spaghetti straps and carried long stemmed bouquets tied with sheer wide royal blue ribbon. They carried the same colors of roses and freshia as the bride.
The best man was Mitchell Long of Fort Worth. Groomsmen were James Littlepage, brother of the bride of San Antonio, Jeremy Soars and Carey Lee, both of Allen and Jason Murray of Dallas.
Ushers were Raymond Massey, of Wylie, cousin of the groom and Luis Villadiego of Dallas.
Pews were decorated with lanterns and bows, centered with creme roses. The front of the chapel featured white wicker baskets of gladiolas, roses, ferns and candelabras. An old fashioned archway was in the front center of the chapel, covered with ivy and mixed white flowers.
The wedding party walked from the chapel through a garden, a Victorian style gazebo, and a small bridge to the Victorian house on the grounds where they were joined by family and friends for a reception. Dr. Andrew Seigrist of Blue Ridge accompanied by The Carol West Trio. Later in the evening, Disc Jockey Chris Moore of Garland played favorite songs of the couple.
The bride is a graduate of Bridgeport High School and Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls where she was a member of Gamma Phi Beta Sorority. The groom is a graduate of Allen High School and attended Oklahoma Christian University at Edmond, Okla. where he played basketball and belonged to Sigma Chi. Both Mr. and Mrs. McKenney plan to continue studies in the computer field.
The groom and his mother hosted a buffet featuring Italian foods at The Victorian House after the rehearsal.
The couple left for a honeymoon at Niagara Falls and other points in New York and Canada. They will live in Dallas where the bride is employed at First Horizon as a Computer Department Coordinator and the groom is employed by Hewlett Packard as a customer relations coordinator.

McNeely - Stacy Denise Hooks and Clifford Arthur McNeely
Marriage vows to be exchanged March 4, 2000
Stacy Denise Hooks of Lewisville, daughter of Bob and Barbara Haley of Decatur, will marry Clifford Arthur McNeely of Lewisville, son of George and Bernice McNeely of Duncanville, on March 4.
Dr. Rusty Hedges will officiate and the Rev. George McNeely will assist in the ceremony at the First United Methodist Church in Decatur.
The bride-elect is a 1993 graduate of Decatur High School and a 1997 graduate of the University of Texas at Austin with a bachelor of arts degree in journalism and public relations. She is a corporate trainer for MCI WorldCom Conferencing.
The prospective groom is a 1986 graduate of First Baptist Academy in Dallas and received a bachelor of arts degree from Wheaton College in Wheaton, Ill. in 1991. He is pursuing graduate studies at Dallas Theological Seminary and is employed as an administrator at Teknion, LLC, a computer consulting firm in Arlington.

Meek - Wayne and Eva Meek
50th Wedding Anniversary March 31, 2000
Wayne and Eva Meek of Weatherford will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a reception April 1, 2000, at Bethel Baptist Church in Weatherford.
Hosts will be their children, Danny Meek of Tolar and Becky Woods of Weatherford.
The couple has six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Meek and the former Eva Faye Hudson were married March 31, 1950.
They are both retired from Lockheed Aircraft.
They are members of Bethel Baptist Church in Weatherford and the Cowtown Archery Club in Fort Worth.

Debra Rabalais of Richland Hills and Benjamin Denny Miller of Paradise were married in a double-ring ceremony at the historic Wise County Courthouse in Decatur, Dec. 10, 1999. Judge Melton Cude presided.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Karl Rabalais of North Richland Hills and Mrs. Janie Morris of Azle.
The groom is the son of Vista Carroll of Old Hickory, Tenn.
The couple plan to live in Paradise.

Millard - Angela Michele Adams and Phillip Terry Millard
Marriage vows to be exchanged June 3, 2000
Angela Michele Adams of Bridgeport, daughter of Lee and Bonnie Adams of Bowie and Phillip Terry Millard of Bridgeport, son of Terry and Bettie Millard of Hot Springs, Ark., have announced plans to marry on June 3, 2000, at the Pleasant View Baptist Church in Bridgeport. The Rev. Gary Demmitt will officiate.
The bride-elect is a 1991 Bowie High School graduate and a 1996 graduate of the University of Arlington. She is now a Spanish teacher at Paradise High School.
The prospective groom is a 1992 graduate of Lake Hamilton High School in Hot Springs and a 1996 graduate of the University of Central Arkansas. He attends the Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth. He currently ministers to students at the Pleasant View Baptist Church.

Milligan - Leslie and Kay Milligan
Fortieth wedding anniversary Aug. 6, 2000
Former Wise County residents Leslie and Kay Milligan of Azle celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary with a trip to a Granbury bed and breakfast given by their children, Suzanne and Woody Stewart and Sonya and Mark McClannahan. The couple was married Aug. 6, 1960 at Fundamental Baptist Church in Decatur by the Rev. Lester Singlton.
Milligan is employed at Parker Stratoflex in Fort Worth and his wife teaches at Lipstreu Elementary School in Springtown. They have two grandsons and one granddaughter.

Miner - Brenda Berube and Tommy Miner
Marriage vows to be exchanged July 29, 2000
Brenda Berube, daughter of Mark and Terry Berube of Decatur, and Tommy Miner, son of Thomas L. and Ann Miner of Decatur, plan to exchange marriage vows on July 29 at The Father's House in Decatur. Dewey Watson will officiate.
The bride-elect is a 2000 Decatur High School graduate and will attend Weatherford College in the fall. She is an employee of the First National Bank of Texas.
The prospective groom is a 1998 Decatur High School graduate and will attend The University of North
Texas in the fall. He is employed at The Funimation Store in Decatur.

Brenda Ann Berube, daughter of Mark and Terry Berube of Decatur, and Thomas Nelson Miner, son of Thomas L. and Ann Miner of Decatur, were married July 29, 2000 at The Fathers House in Decatur. Rev. Dewey Watson officiated.
The bride was escorted by her father, Mark Berube.
She wore a strapless white satin Alfred Angelo gown with a beaded cuff top and a floor-length veil.
She carried a bouquet of white roses, white gardenias, white stephanotis and green ivy.
The matron of honor was Rachel Flake of Decatur, sister of the groom.
Bridesmaids were Sara Hopko of Big Lake, Minn. and Liz Cocanougher and Jessica Koontz, both of Decatur. They wore periwinkle floor-length satin dresses with chiffon overlay and an empire waist. They carried hand tied bouquets of aostero, delphinium, larkspur, baby’s breath, pink carnations and lillies.
The ringbearers were Adrian Berube of Bridgeport, nephew of the bride and Joseph Berube of Moundsview, Minn., cousin of the bride.
The best man was Mikel Coale.
Groomsmen were Kevin Flake of Decatur, brother-in-law of the groom and Nick Cornwell and J.D. Cornwell, both of Irving, cousins of the groom.
Ushers were Brian Berube of Fort Worth, Jeff Berube of Bridgeport and Tim Berube of Whidby Island, Wash., all brothers of the bride.
The guest book attendant was Beth Cherry of Decatur. Pianist was Amanda Reeves of Decatur. Soloist was Rebecca Buchanan of Decatur.
A reception given by the bride’s parents was held at The Club at Runaway Bay.
Following a wedding trip to Cozumel, the couple will live in Alvord.
The bride attended Midwestern State University and is employed at the First National Bank of Texas in Decatur.

She wore a traditional white, sleeveless, floor-length gown of organza and lace with beaded bodice and jewel neckline.
The veil was a Venice lace comb.
She carried white roses and white hydrangeas with bells of Ireland in a hand tied bouquet.

Bridesmatron was Crissy Staley of Valdosta, Ga.
Bridesmaids were Lacey Massingill of Nashville, Ga., Jillian Pointer of Marshall, Mo. and Chelsey Ladd, cousin of the bride of Morganfield. They carried hand tied bouquets of wild flowers.
Best man was Clay Bailey, step-brother of the groom of Stephenville.
Groomsmen were Landon Mitchell, the groom’s brother of Fort Worth, John Hendrickson, the bride’s brother, of Morganfield, Carl Martin of Omaha, Neb. and Josh Brown of Marshall, Md.
Flower girls were Lindsey Bradley, cousin of the groom of Fort Worth and Alyssa Vittow, cousin of the bride of Uniontown, Ky.
Soloist was Leon Phillips of Marshall, Md.

The bride is a 1998 graduate of Missouri Valley College with a B.S. in Human Service Management and Recreation Administration.

Mitchell, Samuel - Tracy Renae Eubanks and Samuel Dale Mitchell
Marriage vows to be exchanged July 22, 2000
Tracy Renae Eubanks of Wichita Falls, daughter of J. R. and Saundra Eubanks of Bridgeport, will marry Samuel Dale Mitchell of Wichita Falls, son of Steve and Martha Mitchell of North Richland Hills, on July 22, 2000.
The Rev. Tom Rogers of Wichita Falls will officiate the ceremony at the First United Methodist Church in Bridgeport.
The bride-elect is a 1996 graduate of Bridgeport High School. She is obtaining a bachelor of science degree in dental hygiene at Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls and will graduate in May, 2001. She is serving as a junior high youth intern for the First Presbyterian Church in Wichita Falls.
The prospective groom is a 1995 graduate of Richland High School and a 1999 graduate of Midwestern State University, where he received a BBA in marketing. He is the assistant coach for the Midwestern State men’s soccer team and is working toward a masters degree in business administration. He will graduate with a masters degree in May, 2001.

Marriage vows exchanged July 22, 2000
Tracy Renae Eubanks and Samuel Dale Mitchell, both of Wichita Falls, exchanged marriage vows in a double ring ceremony July 22, 2000, at the First United Methodist Church in Bridgeport. Dr. Tom Rodgers of Grace Church in Wichita Falls officiated. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J.R. Eubanks of Bridgeport and the groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Steve Mitchell of Fort Worth.
The bride was escorted by her father.
The bride wore a designer gown, which was made of white Dulciana satin and featured a jewel neckline in front and plunging V-back, accented with a pleated Italian satin midriff sash. The sleeveless princess style gown flared into a full skirt with a detachable semi-cathedral train, accented with Italian pleated detailing around the edge of the skirt and train. The two-tier veil of white illusion was elbow length with a cut edge, fashioned with an elegant tiara of arching Swarvoski crystals, all accented with a white illusion cathedral-length veil piped in satin attached to a hidden comb. She carried a bouquet of ivory Virginia, cream Champagne and pale pink Anna roses together with Lily of the Valley, white winterberries and greenery.
Matron of honor was Charissa Steinruck of Wichita Falls. Bridesmatrons were Shea Eubanks, sister-in-law of the bride of Lewisville, Dara Jayne Ortman, sister of the groom of Moody and Tina VanHolbeck of Lewisville. Bridesmaid was Sarah Barstad of McKinney. They wore full-length two-piece designer gowns of Dulciana satin. They were champagne in color featuring straight necklines, small straps and a row of satin covered buttons down the back to the waist. The skirt was A-line and flared in style. They carried silk hand bouquets of large champagne tea roses and ivory curled roses, accented with ribbon in colors of ivory french satin, willow and goldenrod wine.
Best man was Steve Baker of Fort Worth. Groomsmen were Paulius Micikevicius of Winterpark, Fla., Jonathan Mitchell, brother of the groom of Fort Worth, Raleigh Smith of Fort Worth and Matthew Mitchell, brother of the groom of Longview.
Flower girl was Lindsey Walker, daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Jon Walker of Decatur. Ushers were Chad Eubanks, brother of the bride of Lewisville, Kevin Ortman, brother-in-law of the groom of Moody, and Jon Sonnenberg of Plano.
Guest book attendant was Meghan Hull of Wichita Falls, organist was Karen McGraw, pianist was Pat McDonald, and the trumpet was played by Rick Driscoll, all of Bridgeport. Soloists were Susie Driscoll of Bridgeport and Steve Baker of Fort Worth.
A reception, given by the bride’s parents, was held at The Club at Runaway Bay. Servers were Madeline Eubanks, Megan Hull, Meredith Humphreys, all members of the bride’s junior high church youth group, of Wichita Falls, and Shelli Mauldin and Lindsay Montgomery of Bridgeport.
The bride is a 1996 graduate of Bridgeport High School and is attending Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls. She will graduate in May 2001 with a degree in dental hygiene. Tonya Rochelle Holt and Brian Jeffery Mohr, both of Decatur, will exchange marriage vows on Sept. 16, 2000, at the River of Life Church in Decatur.
She is the daughter of Ralph and Sharon Holt of Runaway Bay and Carolyn Beckham of Fort Worth.
He is the son of Greg and Janice Mohr of Decatur.
The groom’s father will officiate.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Mansfield High School and attended the University of North Texas.
She is employed at Kenneth Copeland Ministries.

Amy Nicole Crist and Kyle Ray Monett exchanged vows July 28, 2000, at Diamond Oaks Country Club in Fort Worth. Larry D. Crist Jr., brother of the bride, officiated the double-ring ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Larry and Celia Crist and Skip and Angela Howard, all of Fort Worth. The groom is the son of Roy and Gayle Monett of Bowie, formerly of Chico.
Grandparents of the bride are Kurt A. Meer, Ann Meer, Diane Meer and Helen Short of Fort Worth. Grandparents of the groom are Jim and Pauline Hodges of Chico.
The bride was given in marriage by her parents. She was escorted by her father and step-father. She wore a white empire waist wedding gown and elbow length veil. She carried a bouquet of cream colored roses.
The maids of honor were Kristy McNeill and Rebecca Loughry of Fort Worth. Bridesmaids were Stacy Leverette of Chico and Traist Crist of Fort Worth, sisters of the bride. The flower girl was Angela Howard of Fort Worth, niece of the bride.
The best man was Tye Foster of Decatur, formerly of Chico. Groomsmen were B.J. Leverette and Zane Richey, both of Chico and Brent Monett of Alvord, brother of the groom. The groom and groomsmen wore black tuxedos.
Music for the ceremony was provided by Shin-Dig Entertainment of Chico.
A dinner reception followed the ceremony.
The bride is a 1997 graduate of Arlington High School and attended Tarrant County Junior College. She is employed at the University of North Texas Surgery Clinic of Fort Worth.
The groom is a 1996 graduate of Chico High School and attended Dallas Art Institute. He is employed by Hanson Aggregate of Chico as a quality control technician.
After a brief honeymoon the couple resides in Decatur.

Jeri Lyn Wilson of Bridgeport and Jarett Blake Monschke of Denton were married in a double ring ceremony Dec. 18, 1999, at the First United Methodist Church in Decatur. The Rev. Allen Bates of Victory Family Church officiated the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Jerry and Deborah Wilson of Bridgeport and the groom is the son of Larry and Ginny Monschke of North Richland Hills and Ken and Patty Jett of Denton.
The bride was escorted by her father. She wore an ivory gown with a full tulle skirt and lace bodice with scattered pearls on the chapel-length train.

The bridal party wore sleeveless, mauve dresses with empire waistlines and matching stoles. The dresses also included seed pearls in flower designs on the bodice.
The flower girl was Cameron Oakley, niece of the bride and daughter of Jason and Virginia Oakley, of Haltom City.
Candlelighter was Brandon Wilson, nephew of the bride, of Bridgeport and the ringbearer was Ethan Hilliard, cousin of the groom and son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Hilliard of Denton.
The best man was Sgt. Justin Monschke, brother of the groom, of Clarksville, Tenn. and the groomsmen were Justin Jones of Denton and Jim Jolly of Lewisville.

The reception was hosted by their son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Teresa Moody and grandchildren, Joshua, Matthew and Bethany, all of Paradise.
Moody and the former Emajean Schkade of Albany were married April 1, 1950, at Zion Lutheran Church in Fort Worth.
He is a retired machinist and Quality Assurance Manager and he served in the Army during the Korean War. She is retired from the Bridgeport Hospital and Wackenhut Corrections.

Edward Moreland married LaVerne Jones in Clovis, New Mexico on July 13, 1950. He is a machinist and she is a homemaker. They attend the Rhome Church of Christ. The bride wore her mother’s wedding dress made by the bride’s maternal grandmother of bridal satin with an empire waist and high neck accented with tiny buttons and lace sleeves. Her headpiece of chapel length Chantilly lace was designed by her mother and grandmother to match the dress.
She carried a bouquet of white and wine colored baby roses with forrest green greenery and ribbons to match, designed by the bride and her mother.
Maid of honor was Erin Barnett, sister of the bride, of Decatur. She wore a knee length forrest green satin dress with wine colored ribbon at the empire waist.
Musical entertainment for the ceremony and reception was provided by Thomas Hendrix, cousin of the bride, of Paradise.
A reception given by the bride’s parents was held at The Club at Runaway Bay. Servers were Dona Barnett, aunt of the bride, and Mandy Read, cousin of the bride, both of Paradise.
After a weekend getaway, the couple is living in Decatur.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Donald Majka of Bridgeport. She is the granddaughter of Lorene Majka of Arlington and the late Walter Majka and the late Mr. and Mrs. L.H. Prine.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Michael J. Nivens. He is the grandson of Ann Nivens and the late J.W. Nivens and Mr. and Mrs. Wendell Elliott, all of Alvord.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a Galina ball gown of silk shantung. The bodice featured off-the-shoulder straps and pearl beaded Alecon lace detailing. The full box-pleated skirt with a pearl embroidered lace hem fell to a chapel-length train.
She carried a bouquet of white rosebuds along with a lace handkerchief that belonged to her great-grandmother.

The bride wore a white satin gown with a bodice covered in seed pearls and sequins. The skirt had gathers in the back and was centered with a bow. It fell to a cathedral train and the halo headpiece was lace with seed pearls and tulle.
She carried a bouquet of pink and white roses. The bride and groom were both presented with traditional white plumeria leis by the minister.
The maid of honor was LaToya Petermeier, daughter of the bride. She wore a pink floral dress with a high waist accented with pink ribbon. She also had fresh flowers in her hair.

Godfrey and Mildred Pegues of Newark celebrated their sixtieth wedding anniversary with a dinner prepared in their home by their children, Rodney Pegues of Newark, Gary Pegues of Azle and Marsha Mason of Chico and their grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Pegues and the former Mildred Johnston were married March 30, 1940, in Fort Worth.
He is retired from General Dynamics. She is a homemaker.
They are both members of the Church of Christ.
He is a member of the Newark Library Board and is involved in local politics and the Northwest school district as well as community activities. He attends historical society meetings, works part-time with his son in metal fabricating and also does gardening at home.
She attends a weekly ladies Bible class and luncheon, is involved in gardening and canning and cooking. She attends the ladies auxiliary and her Italian Cream Cake is always requested for their annual fund-raiser. At Halloween children of all ages look forward to her popcorn balls.

The bride was escorted by her father, Rick Read. She wore a gown featuring a sweetheart shaped neckline with cap sleeves. The bodice was adorned with sequins and pearls and the skirt flowed to an extended cathedral-length train featuring elaborate lace. She wore a crown-shaped tiara accented with sequins and pearls that held a chapel-length layered veil. She carried a bouquet of multicolored roses and rosebuds tied with a white satin ribbon.
The maid of honor was Bobbi Kral of Stephenville. Bridesmaids were Colette Barrilleaux and Terri Woodward, both of Stephenville. They wore plum colored sleeveless satin two-piece A-line gowns with a satin wrap and carried a miniature version of the bride’s bouquet.
Flower girl was Taylor Oates, daughter of Pat and Cristi Oates of Bridgeport. Ringbearer was Cason Mitchum, cousin of the bride and the son of Brad and Cathy Mitchum of Runaway Bay.
The best man was Jeremy Holderness of Austin. Groomsmen were Karl Culp and Jeff Nelson, both of Granbury. Ushers were Brian Read of Paradise, brother of the bride and Robert Mitchum of Bridgeport, cousin of the bride.

The bride was escorted by her father, Joe Gardner. She wore a contemporary white gown featuring spaghetti straps with a scoop neckline and a corset bodice adorned with Alencon lace with pearls and sequins. The Basque waist fell into a full tulle ball-length skirt with scattered Alencon lace appliques. The dress had a chapel-length train. The bride wore a cathedral length veil.
She carried a bouquet of white hydrangeas, gardenias and calla lilies with blush colored rosebuds and purple freesia.
Matron of honor was Jenny Read of Paradise.
Bridesmaids were Shelly Tackel of Bridgeport and Mandy Read, sister of the groom, of Paradise. They wore periwinkle spaghetti strap satin A-line ballgowns with matching chiffon scarfs and carried nosegays of blue and blush hydrangea and blush rosebuds.

Crystal Green and Shiloh Shannon, both of San Angelo were married in a double-ring ceremony at Calvary Baptist Church in Dumas on Saturday, May 20, 2000, at 2 p.m. The Rev. Bill Austin of Amarillo officiated. The bride, daughter of David and Penny Green of Dumas was escorted by her father. The groom is the son of Kieron and Paul Diffenderfer and David Shannon, all of Bridgeport.
The bride wore a designer gown, which was made of candlelight, regal Italian satin and featured a scalloped neckline in the front and back. The gown was sleeveless and off-the-shoulder with a princess style bodice accentuating a princess waistline. The full satin skirt featured lace medallions and crystallized hand-beaded bridal pearls. The back showed a runner of hand beaded pearled buttons, which flowed along the cathedral-length train of satin. The train was accented by European lace cut-outs and decorated with hand-beaded medallions of bridal pearls and crystallized jewels.
The veil was two-tiered and chapel-length and was made of candlelight illusion that flowed from a large, hand-beaded comb.
The bride carried a large clutch bouquet of ivory Virginia roses and greenery.
The maid of honor was Crystal Topper of Johnson City. Bridesmaids were Sara Presley of Longview; Kim Green, sister of the bride, of Dumas; Jocelyn Sherman of Copperas Cove; and Laura Shannon, sister of the groom, of Bridgeport.
The bridal party wore full-length designer gowns. They were eggplant colored and made of crepe tiara featuring scalloped V-necklines and low backs which plunged to a bow attached to a free-flowing chiffon dress-length train. They carried natural stem clutches of assorted flowers featuring the wedding colors of eggplant, heather and ivory.
The flower girl was Sydney Harlan, daughter of Brent and Jacquie Harlan of Amarillo.
The ringbearer was Chase Martin, son of Mark and Carol Martin, cousin of the groom, of Bridgeport.
The best man was Adam Hudson of Bridgeport. Groomsmen were Berry White, Paul Duncan and Ryan Ooten of Bridgeport; and Rob Shannon, brother of the groom, of Bridgeport.

Allison Dawn McKinney of Greenville was married to Mark Justin Tarpley of Greenville in a double ring ceremony on Feb. 5, 2000, at the First Baptist Church in Greenville. Dr. D.D. Sumrall officiated. The bride is the daughter of Maureen McKinney and Walter McKinney of Alvord and the groom is the son of Randy and Judy Tarpley of Greenville.
The bride wore a floor-length white satin gown with a beaded and sequined lace bodice with long sleeves. She had a full cathedral train and finger-tip veil of tulle d’illusion. It was trimmed in white satin ribbon and attached to a beaded tiara adorned with white, porcelain roses.She carried a round bouquet of white silk roses.
The matron of honor was Traci McKinney, sister-in-law of the bride, of Alvord. Bridesmatrons were the bride’s sisters, Melissa McAlister of Alvord and Kathryn McKinney of Huntingdon, England..
The bridesmaids were Amy Scull of Seguin and Daniela Gonzalez of Brownsville.
The bridal party wore floor-length champagne colored crepe dresses trimmed with satin. They carried bouquets of champagne and blue rosebuds.

Tina Michelle Duncan and Christopher Lee VanHolbeck were united in marriage on Friday, July 7, 2000, at 7 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Bridgeport. Dr. Bill Dye officiated the double ring ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of David and Sharon Duncan of Bridgeport and the granddaughter of Willie and Shirley Duncan and Geneva Church of Kerrville. The groom is the son of Susan Rutkoski of Sherman and the grandson of Sally Williams of Denison and Bob Overby of Sherman.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a full-length dress of satin and tulle. The camisole top was held with double beaded spaghetti straps. The satin bodice had a burst of pearls and crystals. The fully shirred tulle skirt featured the same beading as on the bodice. The bride’s two tier fingertip veil was fashioned with stones and sea pearls. The bride carried a fresh garden style bridal bouquet of white roses and stephanotis.
Maid of honor was Julie Morrow of Bridgeport. Bridesmaids were Tracy Eubanks of Wichita Falls, Jennifer Kilgore, cousin of the bride, of Keller, and Jennifer Allen of Lewisville. Cousins of the bride, Kelby Duncan of Lake Worth, Bailey Cowen of Lake Worth and Suni Petty of Saginaw were flower girls. The ring bearer was Kyle Church, cousin of the bride, of Aledo.

Marriage vows exchanged June 17, 2000
Shanna Leigh Barber of Lake Jackson, daughter of Freddie Barber of Lake Jackson and Terry Jackson of Katy, and Richard Miles Young of Rhome, son of Richard and Beki Young of Rhome, exchanged marriage vows in a double ring ceremony on June 17 at Shady Oaks Assembly of God in Lake Jackson. The Rev. Micheal Stephenson of Rhome Assembly of God officiated.
The bride was escorted by her father.
She wore a beaded, sweetheart neckline, halter gown, fitted to the waist with a long satin train. Her headpiece was a beaded band with netting. She carried fresh white roses, yellow tulips and lilacs.
Maid of honor was Lindsey Barber, sister of the bride, of Katy. Bridesmatrons were Heather Lee, sister of the groom of Fort Worth, Cindy Everett, cousin of the bride of San Antonio and Jennifer Backlund of Lake Jackson. Bridesmaids were Amber Young, sister of the groom of Rhome, Jennifer Morphis of Dallas and Truli Kelly, cousin of the bride of Lake Jackson.
They wore long, periwinkle blue empire dresses with neck scarves and carried fresh bouquets of roses, tulips and lilacs.
Best man was Richard Young, father of the groom of Rhome. Groomsmen were Robert Miles, uncle of the groom, Phillip Miles, cousin of the groom, Priestly Ledger, cousin of the groom, all of Rhome, Randy Lee, brother-in-law of the groom of Fort Worth, Bryan Miles, cousin of the groom of Dallas and Wade Young of Fort Worth.
Flower girls were Jordan Dickenson and Tori Manning, cousins of the bride. Ringbearer was Cody Everett, cousin of the bride of San Antonio. Ushers were Matt Brooks, cousin of the bride of Lake Jackson, Bobby Flores, Mike Pittman and Brian Moore.
Harpist was Sarah Schaffer and soloist was Aimee Lindsey, both of Lake Jackson.
A reception, given by the bride’s parents, followed at the Lake Jackson Civic Center.
The bride is a 1996 graduate of Brazoswood High School and received an associate of applied science degree as a legal secretary in May 1999. She is employed by the Houston law firm of Short and Jenkins.
The groom is a 1993 graduate of Northwest High School and received a bachelor of science degree in chemical engineering in 1998. He is employed at BASF in Freeport.
Following a wedding trip to Maui, Hawaii, the couple is living in Lake Jackson.
