                                                  A newer cemetery near Balsora

    If you start out in Bridgeport, take FM 920 southwest to the community of Balsora.  Just before you get to the intersection with FM 2210, there are homes on the left.  Behind the houses is the Smith Family Ranch.  You must have permission from the family to enter their private property.  
    You exit FM 920 to the left (east) and travel for almost half a mile into the property.  The newly dedicated cemetery sits in a grand site on top of a small hill with live oak and other trees all around.  You can look back to the west and see well into Jack County from this high spot.  
    There is a very nice fence surrounding the site with two graves: a grave for young Oliver Smith (2016 to 2018) and a new grave (July, 2022) for David Thomas Smith (12-21-1955 to 7-1-2022).
